The general aim of this project is for primary school peers living in Turkey and Belgium to meet under the umbrella of “Turkish”, to get to know each other by interacting with language and culture, to share both their school and daily life experiences in two different countries, and thus to grow up as individuals rich in interculturality. is to mediate.
In line with this general purpose, our students who participated in our various projects in Belgium in the 2020-2021 academic year, Prof. working at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Department of Educational Sciences. Dr. Under the leadership of Ruken Akar Vural, we matched them with their peers from Aydın Bahçeşehir College. Our children came together once a week on the virtual platform and practiced reading, listening and speaking Turkish. They read Turkish books to each other, talked about their hobbies, families and school experiences, and played musical instruments.
